The existing layout of this Listed Preservation Building in the village of Koilani did not fulfil the owners’ current needs and so we had to create modern additions and transformations in keeping though with the strict planning regulations regarding preservation buildings.  The addition of a new bedroom extension, the creation of a covered patio area joining the old and new buildings and the careful combination of new modern materials with the restoration of the old building elements were all core criteria in achieving the desired result.
